Spring

In honor of Earth Week, there is a clothing swap going on in the Student Center. Donated shirts have been clipped to a clothesline and shoes are displayed in the shelves of a magazine rack. A few coats dangle from the corner of a cardboard box. While passing by today, I was startled to see the jacket of someone I know. Its torso was unnaturally still and empty, reminiscent of a hollow crab shell or the sloughed skin of a snake.
