Sometimes people come to this blog looking for information on actual minibeasts, which it turns out is a British colloquialism for invertebrates. Because about one-fifth of my traffic is drummed up by the misunderstanding, I hate to admit to all those overseas Googlers that no facts on earwigs, centipedes, or even caterpillars can be found this blog. I'm sorry if the name misled you. It's just something that my mom and sister used to call me because I am small and sometimes undainty. Disappointing, I know. My minibeastliness pales in comparison with Gregor Samsa's.
